Education is key in helping people rise out of poverty. Without education society cannot achieve a higher standard of living. Unfortunately the majority of children in South Sudan currently lack access to education. MADAA is proud to be educating children and is a simple and effective strategy for rebuilding the lives and infrastructure after the 22 year of Civil War.
By establishing a multi-purpose education centre MADAA is seeking to deliver the following outcomes:
- Address the low literacy rate of the 15-24 age groups in the Acholi corridor of South Sudan
- Address the gender disparity in both primary and secondary education among boys and girls
- Develop community skills through technical training
