Since 2014, MADAA has led in supporting girl child education through sponsorship and by establishing Fr. Leopoldo Anywar College in South Sudan.

Educating South Sudanese young people
Magwi Development Agency Australia Inc runs programs in South Sudan with primary objective of
helping girls and boys access an education. Our focus is taking service to the villages, which was a
rallying call by the founding father of South Sudan Dr. John Garang.
True to our commitment to provide quality opportunity through education, our key focus is ona
ensuring young people remain in school and completed high school level successfully. We provide
boarding facility for girls, feeding program in the school for all students and sponsorship to make
sure no child is left out due to financial hardship. We also train teachers and offer support and
professional development to ensure children receive the best education possible

- Domestic Violence Awareness: Awareness sessions for men and women including safety plan. We also provide referral to specialised service provider agencies within Adelaide
- Community Development: supporting new and emerging community leaders through leadership programs, grant writing and general capacity development for managing community organisation
