Everyone’s safety

The SA Government mandate says that anyone who works in the disability services sector must be vaccinated against COVID-19. Magwi Development Agency Australia. Providing Safe Support

As an NDIS provider, we are required to fulfil certain obligations in accordance with the NDIS Code of Conduct and the NDIS Practice Standards, in addition to meeting the conditions of registration. These obligations concern the provision of safe and high-quality supports and services, as well as the management of risks associated with the provision of supports to our participants.

At Magwi Development Agency Australia. Inc., we care about the health and well-being of our participants, colleagues, and community members. Covid can infect anyone, although most people only experience mild symptoms and soon recover. Some people with disabilities may experience more significant problems from Covid infection, depending on their disability and medical history. We value your and your families’ health and well-being above all else, and we will do everything in our power to keep you safe.

We work hard to create a secure environment for everyone to live and work in.

COVID-19 vaccinations are now accessible in SA for everyone, more information can be found at Vaccination information for disabled persons, caregivers, volunteers, and disability support workers.

Magwi Development Agency Australia. Inc., follows all of SA Health’s regular COVID-19 guidance. As a result, we help our participants to the greatest extent possible while adhering to all current public health requirements.

COVID-19 vaccination

We have a COVID preventive and control strategy in place. It is our responsibility to offer assistance and to remain attentive. Here are some of our suggestions:

  • At our facility, we have an infection control lead.
  • Staff who have been trained and can demonstrate proficiency in infection prevention and control, notably in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Have enough PPE on hand and a solid mechanism in place for screening all personnel and guests upon access to the facility when necessary.
